if you are set to the correct hdmi input, and see that uverse message only on that input, it means the cable box is faulty or not getting a signal. To start, Please unplug power to your uverse box and Router, for a minimum of 5 minutes. Replug, wait 5 more for it to start back up, and see how it works from there. Thank you, Nathan
Hello , my name is Jack Perhaps I can help you with this problem. By the look of it your cable box is the culprit allright and there is but one way to reboot it ; Pull the cable box`s power cord off the wall outlet (cable box only) for a minute. In the mean time turn off the tv and turn it back on only after you plug back the cable box power cord.If it was already there you need to subscribe to uverse (also see problem below). If it is for your account you need to still contact uverse tech support (800-288-2020) to find out when you service is to be activated. Until then you cannot use the equipment.
