All runes will be re-evaluated again at their max potential (purple @+9, legend@+12). I usually know if it is something ill keep if it has good rolls into useful stats / high rolls as well. One way to evaluate is by deciding on the spot which monster u can use for this rune. I keep less than 10% of the rolled runes.Determination Runes are a trap for Tricaru because of how absolutely trash drop rates are in rifts even for SSS. Guard runes are the way to go. Assuming full 6* guard on all doggies, and 2/4/6 def%, you only need ~26% (~192) 41% def in subs. This is across slots 2/4/5/6 in flat def, and slots 3/5 in def%.

It is mathematically much harder to build Tricaru for early players if they try to slam Det runes (especially more than 1 set per dog). Guard runes are by far the easiest method to get the stats. There is an argument for using 1 Det set per dog as slot1 doesn’t have any real reqs, so you only need 1 more per dog.
