CACO is a mod that has so many issues, I'd honestly just recommend uninstalling it completely (which requires manual file deletion because mod managers don't completely remove every file). The mod description only tells you need them, but not where to get them. I have checked alchemists, but they don't seem to sell them. The mod is working because the console shows the items are in the game. Leveled lists also works because the other items like retorts and mortar+pestles from that mod are sold by merchants.

Higher quality mortar and pestle makes better potions/poisons and thus levels the skill faster (and you make more money too). The same is obviously true for any Fortify Alchemy enchantments. Last but not least, you can adjust experience gain for Alchemy in CACO's MCM, if you still feel it takes too long to level the skill up.
