UK. Aug 5, 2019. #1. The shifter on my 2003 Rubi was unusually wobbly and after opening it I noticed that it was missing a couple of bushings. Because I couldn't find just the bushings I ended up ordering a new shifter tower from the US. I arrived today and after I installed it it still wobbles from side to side and doesn't return to the center.This is the plastic bushing that snaps onto the end of the shifter stub on top of the transmission. This fits New Venture NV3500, NV3550, and NV5600 transmissions in GM and Dodge trucks as well as Jeeps.
