The main points of my "rant" are: Morde lacks initiation to the point where he can't do shit without help. He gets outscaled by most champs while being poopoo early game. He has no clear win condition other that "ult priority targets" which is just the same as Darius or Garen executing someone. Nashor's is just the go-to item at the moment to win against this Botrk meta. It's really the only thing that helps you out against right-clicking champions, and the only way Morde can get 20% CDR on an item. It's even being consistently built in pro play on Morde. I wouldnt say it's mandatory, but I'm seeing myself build it almost every game. And get up to 35% extra shield and heals. For me the go-to bans as Mordekaiser are usually either Fiora or Jax. Both are effectively your worst hard counters in the game as far as top laners go. Outside of that, Sett, Darius, and Mundo are always useful bans. Sett for his raw statchecking. Darius for his pre-level 6 bleed cheese, and Mundo for that horrifying cc immunity.
