Well I was first running Aphelios Rest and on my first clear it dropped Nothing Manacles which I thought was odd since it is exotic arms and then on my next few runs I got some exotic chest pieces.It's a lost sector, for one. It'll take 5 - 8 mins to run once we're at the appropriate light. It's only hard right now because most of us are 30 under, and our Stasis subclasses aren't even fully unlocked/realised. Approx. 25% (Legend) and 33% (Master). Time doesn't matter. Platinum rewards (killing all champions) does matter. Keep in mind each run doesn't care about the previous ones. It's uncommon but very possible to have a long dry spell. Just try and not think about it or take breaks if you burn out.

Just because the reward [i]may[/i] be an exotic helm doesn't mean it will (1) actually be an exotic and (2) even if it is, there is no guarantee that it'll be one you don't yet have. Somewhere between 20-27%. RNG means you could get 5 exotics in a row or run 30+ without one, and on an infinite timescale it all evens out. There was someone that did a bunch of Lost Sector runs and it seems that Legend lost sectors have a 25% chance while Master lost sectors have a 33.33% chance.
