May 6, 2013 · It is interesting, the different opinions. My problem with the e609 Silver is not the brightness per-se. It was more that I was unable to get any warmth/body at all without major EQing. It is really scooped and sounds nothing like my amp. The 906 was just basically plug and play for me. I am talking mostly for live use, not much recording. The e609 to my ear sounds a lot like the e906 in boost presence mode.
