Okay, I've heard of players doing stuff like this at least for short periods of time, but I've never bought into it. It seems like an excuse to do something different to break a funk, or to stand out, or something. Dustin Ackley for a short period of time this year sported a strange Tony Batista-like batting stance and it didn't do squat for him.
