Hello gang, recently started having problems with the charging system on my 1300. Battery will top off but after about 15-20 miles it is drained. Have tested the battery pre- start and shows 12.8 volts. After start meter shows 11.6. Have replaced the rectifier (which had corrosion and a broken spade.

Feb 24, 2020 · Check Engine Light Input - 2007 VStar 1300. I have a 2007 Yamaha V-Star 1300 CT. I just returned from a fast-paced 6,400 mile winter cross country road trip on it where it experienced just about every weather condition. I changed the oil at about the 6,000 mile mark. But to get to the point, I rode the bike yesterday morning with no issues.

2007 VStar 1300 tourer won’t start. just bought a used 2007 VStar 1300 tourer. Picked it up wed night and trailered it home. It started with no issues wed night. Thursday night tried to start it to add sea foam and it won’t turn over. When I turn the key on the dash lights are on but headlight and such do not work.
