All the reefs, worldwide, are dying. Enjoy what's remaining and please do what you can to protect our natural splendor.Rents on places at the moment are about $1,200-$1,800 for a one bedroom. Electric is about $100 if you don't have A/C and are very frugal about it. If you have A/C, and run it at night, you can expect to pay closer to $200. In general, the long term rentals are no where as nice as the short term rentals.

It’s wide open and very secure. There’s also where the old lumberyard used to be that has a big lot. Both cost $10-20 a day.

This will be our first trip to St. John and the USVI.We are staying at Gallow Point. Aside from driving around the island is there any practical need for a jeep while we are there?
