Sp20 wads.

There is no question whatsoever about the WAA20F1. It was a 20 gauge yellow wad with a short leg section and intended for 1 ounce loads. That does not mean that with some combinations it could not be used with 7/8 or even 1-1/8 ounce loadings. In the Federal hull with 1 ounce payloads, Remington's SP20 or RXP20 may do as well as the Winchester wad.Here is a 1 oz Blue Dot load out of the Hand Book of Shotshell reloading.---win 209, 23.5 Blue Dot, Rem Sp 20, 1220 fps@ 11400 psi. SP20's are a bit pricey, but the volume of these will be limited vs. the more dedicated target loads. I shoulda bought some RXP's to add to inventory. The SP20 is 1.540" long with a shot cup depth of 1.050" = 1 oz. The "S" designation was added later when they stitched the petals together. The RXP 20 is 1.585" long with a shot cup depth of .890" = 7/8 oz.
