Leech Lake Report. Walleye activity remains limited with better action late in the day or overnight along the 12- to 18-foot breaks and reefs. During the day, a few walleyes are coming off the deep side of the reefs in 22 to 26 feet. The 18- to 20-foot breaks in Walker Bay are also producing a few walleyes during low-light periods.

Leech Lake. Between 8 and 11 inches of snow fell last week and that caused slush to develop throughout the lake. Tracked vehicles or snowmobiles are probably the best means to get around on the main lake where up to 11 inches of ice is being reported, but there are still spots with 7 to 9 inches, and less than that in Walker Bay.Straight to Your Inbox.
