I'm having issues and am hoping someone could suggest something or guide me in the right direction. I use my car for work (lots of driving) and have 220,000 miles. Replaced the engine last year with one that had ~50k on it.The Dodge Avenger utilizes a crankshaft position sensor in order to regulate the engine timing. This sensor uses a reluctor to gauge the position of the crank. When the Avenger's ECM determines that there is an issue with the signal coming from this sensor, it'll throw the P0335 trouble code. P0335 Symptoms: Dodge AvengerInsert the ignition key and turn it to the on position and then attempt to start the engine (crank over), the engine wont start. With the key still in the run position wait 10 minutes and the security light should blink and then go out. Turn the key off and wait 5 seconds. Repeat these steps for a total for 3, 10 minute cycles.

If the no crank / no start condition is present, and the WCM is "off bus", then reset the WCM by temporarily removing the IOD (J13) fuse (with the key out of the ignition switch), wait for 10 seconds and then reinstall the IOD fuse. 5.
