Ours also smells of latex, but putting on the cover helped, but there’s still a faint smell to it. Avocado gives you a whole year to figure out if you wanna keep it or not. These mattresses are not cheap, but, you spend a large portion of your life on one. I think this one’s worth trying out. And don’t believe the extra $600 for the topper would improve the comfort enough to justify the price.
