The mower deck belt throwing problem is readily fixed. Root cause is right-most idler pulley is mis-aligned about 3/8" too high. Fix is to remove its bracket and have a shop cut it and lower bracket height by 3/8". Did this to my LT1045 back in 2008 and have had no problems.
