John deere f935 problems.

I have a John Deere F935 that I inherited 2 years ago that has just encountered some problems. I have been able to mow several times this season and when I hopped on today I started out ok but it quit on me about 1 minute into the mow. Here are the symptoms: 1. It should pull all the way open when starting. Might have someone pull on the rod while it's being cranked. Crack an injector line and make sure fuel is feeding while cranking also. My F935 front deck is not steering right. Oddly I can raise and lower the deck and if I hold the handle back in the raise position the steering will work. I think it might be this The mower hydraulic weight transfer valve AM105781. I wish I knew for sure. It's expensive

I have no hydraulics of any kind. I've checked the oil level, and the releif valves on the charge pump. I'm planning on changing the oil and filter next.
