The only difference is the trigger bar but your not gonna find an 80% g42 your best bet is to build a p80 g43 and find a .380 acp barrel it’s a little bigger but still very compact, and your mom would like it even more because the increased size would make it an even softer shooting gun

only thing i can think of to get better engagement is to look at the disconnector spring make sure its 5LBs or more, look at the rear rails if you altered the rails at the top and its loose replacing the rear rail could help alot, and last replace the safety plunger and firing pin springs
