After the machine sits and you know it'll have the starting issue you might open the float bowl drain and make sure there is fuel in it. I have recharged the batt (13.2v). I checked the ac volts from the stator and in a nutshell at 1000rpm 19.6v, 3000rpm 45v and 5000rpm 74v. So it now points to the regulator. Now to contact Polaris and see if they will repair under goodwill as my ranger is 10 moths old and only 890 km (550 mi) Crossing my fingers!!

One thing is you don't put a 20 amp fuse in a 10amp spot because a fuse is a circuit Protector and puting a 20 in a 10 would damage whatever is on that circuit. According to my owners manual for my RZR and I suspect the full size rangers are the same, When the AWD is turned on by the switch it only engages when the rear wheels slip. The book also says you can leave it in AWD all the time and it will do nothing unless the rear wheels loose traction.
