Quick Reply. In my experience I have found that the most common PF Tek. first-flush yeild is about 3 grams dry with secondary flushes being slightly less each time. The secondary mushrooms are defently bigger. If you are using any sort of incubator i'de suggest you dunk the cakes pre-first-flush for increased yeilds.The Uncle Bens Tek, as it's now called, can work and sometimes does. It's just that the likelihood of success (20-25% or less) is far lower than other tried and true methods. It was tried on The Shroomery some 10-15 years ago. Cultivators earnestly tried to get it to work as well the more traditional methods.
