When you move up from an LCP to something the size of a Glock 42, .380 can be a real pleasure to shoot. The P365 is virtually the same length and height as the Glock 42. The grip is about a tenth of an inch wider. In 9mm, the original P365 is a handful. It’s not horrible to shoot for 50 or 100 rounds, but it is objectively a snappy gun.
If I want more rounds I CCW my Glock 19 which is comfortable to CCW but my PPS does beat it for all day comfort by a bit. I have a Sig Sauer P365 and I carry it with my Glock 19. My one complaint on the P365 is the super short barrel. I prefer the slightly longer barrel of the Glock 43. I'm really curious if that longer slide will work on the standard P365 frame. I'd love the long slide with optics option on the 10 round frame with a 15 round mag in the pocket as a backup.

A p365 is very snappy and kicks with such a short barrel and takes a bit to learn. Learning on a p365 may take longer because you have to learn to not anticipate recoil, and there is a lot of recoil compared to the glock 19. The glock is heavier with a longer barrel that makes the recoil feel lighter even though they both shoot the same round.
