Spare Shot is handy (essentially you get some free ammo), and Wirebug Whisperer is a good candidate for a lot of weapons and is great for "parkour" builds. Depending on how much you tolerate recoil, there's always Recoil Down, too. Until Sunbreak comes along Shield just isn't fun to play in Base Rise.

Sticky/Cluster works fine, far from optimal but fun regardless., would not recommend using as much if playing solo. Can confirm that shockproof prevents you from constantly staggering your teammates.
