Sep 18, 2007. Messages. 19. I am in process of rebuilding an old 1845C. One of the issues is the instrument panel doesn't fully work. It seems that some functions work but others don't. So I took it apart for inspection. Found one red led rattling around in the housing. That's easy enough to figure out and replace.I have a 1999 4300 with over 2025 hours on it and my temp gauge also pegs HOT. Sometimes it sticks there when the tractor is shut off. If you thump your fist above the temp guage the needle goes back to the off position. Thought I would start a new thread. 2014 XVU 825i instrument dash backlight stays on when key is removed. Yellow screen with no readings. Remove the 5 amp fuse and the light goes off. Will crank and runs fine. Checked all fuses and traced wires. No rodent wear or loose wires as best I can tell. Called JD and they have never heard of this before.
