So the mounting pattern a hydraulic pump manufacturer uses should bolt up to any of these engines in a given power range. The standards are SAE J609_200307.

You are manually bypassing the Governor by "pressing that bar down". There is no way to 'correctly' bypass the governor with linkages. You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. The only real way to slow a kart down is through gearing. You will have to gear lower for a slower speed. You will have more torque though.It depends on what bike.u have. If u have a 100 series small tire (6" rim 13" tire) with a 212cc left bone stock with a torque converter on it and run a 10/ 50-55 gear ratio, u would get somewhere in the 27-35 mph range.
