To revert reshade, you just download the older installer and run it; its 'upgrade' will replace ReShade with the version of the installer. As for the shaders, you can download them from GShade's github, github.com ...So you take all the reshade files in your pc FFXIV game folder (as well as the shaders and presets folder) and copy them over to your Steam Deck (the video mentions the location). BUT!!!! The one extra thing you need to download and add to that steam deck folder is d3dcompiler_47.dll - - there's a download link in that same youtube video.

Second is that a lot of shader files were different between ReShade and all GShade versions. Especially shaders like MultiLUT.fx had been changed too much times on GShade side. AuroraShade has nothing to do. I have been maintaining a shader collection for personal use, which merged ReShade/GShade shaders and fixed a bunch of bugs.

True Eorzea and TE Fantasy are better optimized and effectively replace the old UFantasy and UReal shaders as they achieve what was originally intended to a greater degree. Historically people switched from Reshade to Gshade because Gshade was easier to install and had some features that only were usable on Reshade with a lot of hassle (like depth shaders), eventually Reshade made that easier but by then everyone switched to Gshade and generally people were happy until the recent shitshow, but current iterations of Gshade and Reshade are basically the same. 6 years 8 months ago #1 by OtisInf MultiLUT shader with 12 LUTs in 1 texture was created by OtisInf. This shader is an extension of the LUT.fx shader already in Reshade shaders. It can work with a texture atlas with multiple LUTs packed together and has an easy selector to select the right LUT to use at runtime. All my shaders should work just fine with default reshade, although you may have mixed results as I haven't tested it out myself (I'm at work rn). The GShade drama is a little overblown, the "malware" was to prevent the installer from being tampered with and Marot has already removed it in favor of a more traditional prevention method. Make sure you run the reshade setup as administrator, select ffxiv_dx11.exe, select directx 9 and allow it to download shaders, after that give admin rights to ffxiv.exe and the admin rights to the exe the desktop shortcut points to.
