The RAV4 feels like it sits up a little higher and the Forester feels zippier, but the specs are pretty damn close. I chose the Forester after having one for a rental and he chose the RAV4 because he got a good deal through Costco. I’m particular about visibility and the Forester had a better view out the back window.I have a 2022 Rav4 and need the passenger seat lowered. Step 1. Remove seat. Step 2, cut 3 inches out of seat frame and re-weld. Step 3. Reinstall.Something like cabin noise is very subjective. If your coming from a more luxury vehicle that has great sound dampening then it will sound loud asf, but actually be normal. And vice versa. The rav4 has never been known to be great on cabin noise. Especially the 2019 models as they had no hood blanket for insulation.RAV4 update follows year after Camry because the platform and most common parts are similar. New 2025 Camry (redesigned, fresh look, all hybrid) just revealed to release to consumers in the Spring of 2024. I don't regret the Rav4, its a great car despite my first year model having some issues, but I've been enjoying the 4Runner more. Before RAV (2021, hybrid made in Japan) I owned Peugeot 2008, so it's understandable why I'll vote for RAV and Toyota. For me choise was Tiguan vs RAV. Almoust year and I'll still would took RAV. Nice about RAV, especialy hybrid is a good torque and 7 liters/100 km in the city for me, a lot of space and good looking.

If you're looking for something with more space and storage then the obvious choice is the Rav4. If you want a car, then go with the Camry. This may be an unpopular take, but the Rav4 seems like a “mom car” to me. Rav gets almost twice the gas milage, drives smoother and quieter and has quite a bit more power. Subaru was $8k cheaper for same features and is quite a bit better in the snow/mud. Also in today’s world where is is hard to find cars in stock, there seem to be way more foresters available. The CX5 was a close second, but the harsher ride and the lack of lane pushed us to the RAV4. On the CRV, it just looks too odd and the interior just felt too hectic. YMMV, the 8-speed transmission in the Rav4 is not very smooth. I had bought a 2020 Camry with one, and traded it in for a 2021 Camry without (hybrid).
2022 rav4 VS new 2022 kia sportage. So I'm looking at buying a 2022 updated shape rav4 hybrid bruiser in Australia. The car seems like a great bit of kit but is starting to look a little dated inside. I test drive the new kia sportage and the cabin is miles ahead in terms of tech than the rav 4. The drive is also pretty good. Rav is our adventure-mobile and the Camry is the on the town date night car. The Rav has more creature comforts such as a power lift gate, but the Camry has a nicer quality of interior in my opinion. The Camry gets slightly better gas mileage but costs more to fill up due to the Rav having a smaller tank. CR-V is a bit more upscale in exterior looks and interior design. It's a little quieter when driving. Many CR-V drivers and reviews say the real world mileage is aroound 31-33 MPG. RAV4 has a more rugged exterior with a more utilitarian interior. …24 Aug 2023 ... The RAV4 hybrid e-CVT is a completely different design, it's a planetary gear set with two motor-generators (ie. no belts, no chains). It is extremely reliable, even more so than a regular torque converter automatic, and the way it harvests energy and uses the motor-generators is simple, reliable but highly effective. In the end it all boils down to what you really prefer. You want a classy, quiet, luxurious ride and fun to drive vehicle on a budget; get the cx 5. If u prefer back seat space and larger trunk, then get the Rav 4. Get the rav 4 hybrid if u want to save on gas. When it comes to looks, I prefer the CX5.
