The belt has wore a groove to about an 1/8 inch or so left. I've tried different baling techniques and adjusted tracking but can't seem to get the belt to move.

Seemed to help the problem. I think sharping the knife will help in the wrapping process. Also baling with dew helps, most all problems I ever had with my Deere 567 was when crop was totally bone dry. Would rip net, and send it to top roller. The new Holland if it ever rips it, just goes to steel starter roll, every easy to get off.

Baler is a 648 with the bale command system. REplaced belts last year with John Deere style aggressive belts and JD lacings. Replaced gears and bearings in sledge roller this spring. When started up. will bale about 5 bales then starts having problems on auto wrap. Have to extend wrap actuator to get srap to start.

On 660 balers there is a shut off valve at the bottom of the left tension cylinder. Raise tailgate, shut off valve, lower tailgate. Engage Hydraulic tailgate lock before entering the bale chamber . Depending on the baler model the tension system relief vavle determines how much pressure is built in the system. 2400 is the maximum pressure for a 648. This year, not so good. Bales are soft. Looking at the operators manual and checking the baler, there is what looks like a density hydraulic cylinder and an adjustment knob.
