Did some upgrades to my Monoprice 5 watt tube amp. I always though the Celestion speaker that came with the Monoprice Stage Right 5 watt amp was a little flubby. I upgraded the speaker to an 8" Jenson C8R8, bought some new grill cloth (that I didn't proberly line up).....and installed some inexpensive furniture legs. It sounds incredible.I saw a video on YouTube about the monoprice stage right 15, and it has good reviews online. It seems great because of how cheap it is but still has 15 watts of power so I can be heard over a drum kit. I have the baby brother 15-watt tube amp from monoprice and it works well. This 50-watt version has a ground issue. The buzz/feedback coming out of it makes it pretty much unusable. Can't use the dirty channel at all with any kind of gain and can't use the clean channel with even a minimum amount of gain from pedals.
