Insulin stimulates PFK-1 and therefore production of F1,6-BP. These two things seem counterintuitive pertaining to the role of glucagon.

So long story short I think you should take end of May because I don't think that 1 month is enough to study properly for a retake, so might as well give yourself as much time as you can to study for the May one. If you do poorly, then push back applying for a year, study for the MCAT full-time during the summer. In general, the logic of these tests is pretty solid, and there is a lot of questions that seem pretty simple which is good because you do not want to miss those on the real MCAT.
