Well, I think I may have finally fixed the electronic throttle control light problem on my Jeep. This has been a problem for the past several months. The ETC light would come on several times a week. The dealer replaced the throttle body and throttle position sensor, the powertrain control module, and the gas pedal assembly and sensor.

2- Turn ignition to ON position, do not start engine. 3- Slowly depress the sag pedal to the floor, and then slowly release it. Repeat 3 times. On the 3rd press hold to the floor until the Check Engine light flashes, then release and turn key off. 4- now start engine. Pedal and Throttle should be in synch.
