Homepod blinking volume.

Has anyone figured out how to fix the flashing volume lights? Homepod is out fo warranty and was told by Apple apprently it’s a hardware issue. I have this same problem! Called Apple support today and I was told they have no other option than replacing it at my cost same as a new HomePod because mine is out of warranty.

Unfortunately St. Tim won’t release the restore IPSW to the public so it doesn’t matter. Also worth nothing that I’m not sure blinking volume lights or spinning circle are a software issue. Software doesn’t randomly corrupt itself. I’m thinking it’s a hardware related issue in the logic board and shows up as blinking volume lights. Homepod Flashing Volume + & - Hi! My HomePod started flashing the volume controls this morning.. And it is not responding anymore. I tried to reset it, but without any luck. The status icon change color to red as it is supposed to, but after about 45 seconds, it goes back to flashing volume controls. HomePod turns back on, I tapped it to wake it up. It does the little white glow and then cuts to the flashing +/- volume controls. Pressing and holding does nothing except for when it first wakes. I think she’s dead. After 3 weeks. So basically the evening when I did the update everything worked fine, but when I came home from work next day and wanted to play music the device kept quiet. Normally a restart of the device worked on that but after restarting the HomePods (Stereo Pair) instead of properly restarting the device went into the mentioned "flashing volume icons" mode. That's what I was thinking, bad logic board. This issue occurred in iOS 14.2 but I was able to unplug it wait like half and hour then plug it back in. Worked like a charm for a month or two. Then I ran the update for 14.3 then a week later, static/poppy sound, then blinking volume lights. Keep in mind this paired as stereo with a new Homepod.
