Hk 45c review.
REGADING MAG EXTENSIONS: I've posted several times in the past regarding magazine extensions for the HK45 & HK45C, mostly the HK45. To that end, I've been using the Taylor Freelance (TF) +3 extensions for a few years now. I chose to load the +3 extensions to a total of 12 rounds, and this is how I've carried them for the past few years.
It sports an ample 15-round capacity and has a more low profile form factor than its predecessor. The HK45C and classic USP Compact .45 benefit from the ability to use 10-round magazines from the new HK45, so not all is doom and gloom. The HK45C's is more slender than the P320's and is a bit slick. I actually wish it had more swell in the sides/palms. So the P320 feels 'bigger', but in .45 it may help with controllability as the recoil is nicely spread out over the palm. The HK45C feels more like a single-stack, but its recoil-reduction spring/bushing helps keep recoil down.

USP 45 Trigger System. The HK USP 45 has two trigger modes, single action, and double action. The single-action trigger pull consistently measured 4 lbs 6 ounces. This is fairly light for a duty style pistol. Even my Colt Defender single-action trigger measures a heavier pull weight at 4 pounds 11 ounces.
