If you wanted, the closest you could come is buying a server, putting a password lock and then you could be good. However that route gets the server taken out of the hive so your character wouldn't transfer. Marcuskac. Do some research about the survival mods on Arma 3 before you buy it so you wont get disappointed. Arma doesnt have much going on on the survival scene but it is a great platform for a tone of things. Based on your question i would just buy DayZ. The survival arma mods are severely lacking in options and freedom compared to dayz.

Not really. There was an attempt in the beginning, but the og epoch was a lot of unlocking assets already in arma2. Dayzsa just doesn't have all that.
