I find that games that are more gameplay-immersive (aka Boneworks and bonelab) don't require high quality graphics. But the more you step away from gameplay realism, the more graphics begin to matter. And even with that in mind, I think the graphics in Boneworks (and hopefully bonelab) are higher quality than a lot of indie vr games out there.

Bonelab was a quite linear game in its level design (go through this door, through this hallway, through this door, down these stairs. With boneworks offering you immense amounts of freedom in levels like Streets, warehouse and timetower. Bonelab is better as a sandbox and Boneworks is better as video game.
