It also has four burners for dialed in multi-zone cooking. The PitBoss griddle is very comparable to the Blackstone. The 1932 has the flip up top, the 1866 has the hard cover. I have an 1863 with the hard caver but really wished I had researched and gotten the flip top. I called Blackstone about converting it but apparently the flip top base is much sturdier.
