It is a 2009 SLT1 (18" wheels) with 65,000 mi / 105,000 kms. Any ideas as to what could be the problem? 1. Misfire. This only occurs when the A/C is in the on position. Sounds like a compressor bearing. Will have to take in to the dealer for a diagnosis.

Could be motor mount, suspension bushing, etc. One way to check for motor mount is to put it in gear, press hard on the brake, and hit the gas. If it clunks, then your motor mounts need replaced.
