In fact, depending on the age of your 6610, it may not have a steering box, but an orbit motor. Change the filter, fill the reservoir, cycle the steering a couple times and refill the reservoir. Crack open the line from the filters at the injection pump. You should get a good gravity flow of fuel there unless your tractor has a lift pump.The 6000 I have has been a very good tractor. Yes the pump was juiced up, and it does have a nicer seat than the factory. I did install hydrostatic steering, but over all it is one stronger puller. Comfortable to drive and very quiet.
