It would shut off. Took it to the shop, they said it runs through a checklist and shuts the car if off to protect it if theirs a problem.

When I go to auto start it it reads “auto start disabled, start car to reset”.However, if it's not in just one specific location then it could be a number of issues. Most often it is a broken or defective hood switch. You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery to reboot the system.
