Directv closed captioning not working.
The caption settings behave as expected. There are no direct Paramount+ caption controls from inside the app, through the Roku so it seems to be a conflict just in the compatibility of the two. It has worked properly, even using the Paramount+ app, for many months. This is a relatively new problem.

4 years ago. i cant find a language setting specifically for closed captioning, but maybe if you go to menu, settings, accessibility, captioning, digital track you might find it has been switched from service 1 to some other number. If so, switching it back to service 1 might get ur captions back to english. 1. 0.
The captioning will sometimes just not work, even though it is "On." I'll back out of the program I'm watching, and go to Settings to reset them and that doesn't work. I'll manage to somehow get the CC working, but when I finish one program and go to another, the CC isn't working again.

In the mean time the upgraded receiver has arrived and despite being told by agent that it was plug and play….it is not plug and play.
