Is there any scientific research that can explain this phenomenon. My black cat randomly smells like vanilla for only a day or two every once in awhile and it is only on the top of her head. She does love head butting people but I swear my boyfriend nor I have anything that smells like vanilla in our home besides stuff that is in the cupboard.
