Galaxy S8 with Android 9 user here. I follow the video step by step but when i click on the popup to select the bin file, it doesn't response and "failed to read amiibo" message come out. Joy-con droid amiibo already enabled, bin file already extracted and i already move the bin file to the front folder for the fast excess.

Its pretty sweet. there is also a homebrew app for the 3DS to read/write amiibos and ntag215 cards/stickers. I've always thought that it would be cool to have this app implemented into the switch as a homebrew app. For $11 I got 28 NFC tags with free shipping and the actual files and software to use them is free.
