I asked MW yesterday and she said it can sometimes take up to a week after mucas/plug stuff for actual labour hormones to get going sometimes. Good luck! took 4 hours from me losing plug to meeting DS! it was a bit bloody; don't know if that meant anything. congrats greeneyed btw.

So I had an attempt at a membrane sweep with my first. I was being induced at 39 weeks and wanted to do everything I could. So really, sweeps don't always work. She sweeped another lady who wasn't dilated at all and had no signs of labour, she went into labour the next day!! It's all very much down to the individual. Had my first sweep earlier this week at 40+2, cervix 1 cm dilated also. Lost some plug today but no other symptoms.
