I have an argie that i bred at 105, and got 100% imprint (and yes, i claimed it at birth, so it's imprinted on me). I got the stat bonuses during imprinting, but I don't seem to get the additional bonus while riding it. To illustrate my point, it's at level 154 now, and had a current melee of 404%.
