Purchased my 2021 Rubicon brand new from the dealer. Almost immediately it started having shifting issues, flashing gear indicator. I told the dealer the issue and they had a look and said nothing is wrong. Turns out it had the software defect and the shift fork got damaged.

Dropped off my Rubicon at dealers today. The same problem as described above, after an hour of riding the DCT transmission will not shift. A dash will be displayed on the gear indicator on the instrument panel. Shutting it off will usually enable me to shift back into neutral and start over again. Put a 8mm wrench or socket on it and try to shift it up and down. If that works than your problems are electric. If you plow you need to get rid of the reverse level takes to much time and is a huge hassle.. Adjust the cable so that it thinks you are pulling on the lever. There are two adjustment points. You might need to use both of them to get the cable tight enough to not need the lever.
